Sorry for the delay on this week’s update! It’s been an emotional, full week.
Highlights from this week
- This week I cracked open a book for the first time since graduating seminary! I’m reading the Hobbit.
- I saw a couple movies. I went and saw The Odyssey in IMAX and it was so good! I highly recommend seeing it if you haven’t already… and it’s definitely worth seeing in IMAX!
- I made huge progress in unpacking and settling into my room. I have one box left to unpack.
- I figured out an efficient grocery store/gas route thanks to my fellow program director at the AO, Ian.

Prayer requests
- Once August hits, I’m going to have to really get a move on getting a Montana license, new car insurance, etc. Please pray I find help, figure it out, and that everything goes smoothly!
- I’m feeling homesick. I miss my friends and family so much. I miss being in a town and state I know like the back of my hand. Please pray I get some relief.
- I’m experiencing a lot of anxiety and I’m going toe-to-toe with my depression every day. Please pray for my mental health, everything has flared up significantly during this season of transition.
- I’m enjoying myself in some ways but my body, heart, and mind are just screaming that they want to go home. Please pray I start to feel at home here, however that may look.
